Members get the new additions to the library first.
We have over 900 technical articles in our SynAudCon Library. The articles include intensive field studies, clever solutions to problems, and practical tips. Many of them are written by top industry professionals. We work hard to keep the articles practical, and without the marketing twists that are often seen in the trade publications.
The room impulse response (RIR) is the acoustic signature of a room. We have an ongoing collection of RIRs from rooms around the world. Some of the rooms are typical, others are quite interesting, and some are famous. Each room survey includes a descriptions, photos, and measured room data. What better way to learn more about room measurements and acoustics than listening to and analyzing these surveys?
You may download the RIRs and import them into your acoustic measurement software. The files are in WAV format. You may also use the freeware GratisVolver™ to convolve the RIR with speech or music and have a listen.
